A Remembrance - 5/29/2003
Anna Krzyzewska (she is the daughter of Mrs. Maria Kukulska, who helped care for Irena’s children after they left the Ghetto, before they were placed) writes to the students:
"My memories of Irena are full of admiration for her enormous
involvement. She was a young, beautiful woman, who was constantly being
sought by the Germans, who had to hide constantly and spend her night in
different places to confuse the Germans." |
